Wow-how time has flown by since I started school...I feel like a completely different person now that I have a bump where my once somewhat flat stomach was....Many days go by that I wonder if I will ever see it flat again, but the joys of feeling my son flutter and kick take me away from those petty worries. In the last week, I have had to wear my maternity pants for more comfort. I absolutely LOVE my tummy band that helps me wear my regular clothes...but Prego jeans are AWESOME!!! I never knew I could love wearing a pair of jeans!

(Jeremy bought our sweet baby boy his first pair of VANS!!!

OH YEAH...I guess I never announced it on this blog...but we are having a boy! We found out at 18 weeks and RIGHT AWAY you could tell....WE ARE SO EXCITED and almost ready to announce the name. We have it narrowed down to 2-but I just can't wait to announce it!

School is going AWESOME! If everyone could teach being in their 2nd trimester....no-one would get tired...I have more energy than I ever have had and am definitely experiencing the joys of nesting!!!

Jeremy and I never like to take our time with anything....dated and married within a year 1/2, having a baby within 11months of our marriage....we are now in the beginning processes of shopping for houses...Nothing set in stone, just trying to get educated! :) If we find something we like, we just might take a bite-otherwise we will wait until God's timing is right for us! I will feel very sad leaving our apt. because it has become our family away from home!!!

Well tons of boring news! Just a quick update...I usually update more on facebook b/c it's quicker during the school year!

The Crib

Last night, Jeremy and I could feel the little bump that is beginning to protrude...sweet Ahgi is being revealed!!! I am finishing my 13th week and it is amazing the difference I feel. The past two days I have had a pretty normal appetite and only feel nauseous a few times throughout the day. I have also had a little more energy, which has helped out on projects!!

Our first project...the C-R-I-B!! We ordered it last week and it came in quicker than we thought! After my 13th week appointment, Jeremy and I picked it up and put it together!!! The check-up went very well! I'm healthy, the baby has a strong heartbeat and my uterus is right front and center!!! God is so faithful! Ahgi is almost the size of a lemon and I can definitely feel growth! Here are a few pictures of the crib.

Prayer Request...As Jeremy and I pray for friends of ours, please join us...A little sweet baby girl who was just born a few weeks ago is having complications with her eyes...Please pray for healing and a miraculous testimony for this baby girl!! We will call on His promise of healing and continue to Worship God in all circumstances of life! Thank you in advance for your prayers.

1 Year Renew

Jeremy and I are preparing to sign our second year lease on our apartment!!! With a new baby in sight, I decided on keeping our life as simple as we can so that I have no added stress of house hunting, moving and everything else that comes with home buying. We have decided to begin the home buyers education, so any advice would greatly be appreciated! Do we buy for 3-5 year outlook or buy for 10 year? Do we buy a house to re-do or is it worth spending a little more and getting most of everything we want? So many decisions...for now I will be thankful for our home we have here at Tribeca and the FUN people we have met! Here are some pictures of how our apartment has been transformed into our place we call home!

A Bumpy Start...Wonderful Ending

Our trip to Montana started out on a bumpy road thanks to my pregnant brain!!! Our flight was to take off at 6:05am, so in my mind, I had 5am as the time to be there!! I set my clock for 4 giving us a good 30 minutes to wake up, and head out the door. Well an alarm going off at 4am + a pregnant-baby brain, does no good for planning! We woke up and the whole morning I had in my mind leave at 5am...so at 4:50 when we were heading out the door, it dawned on me that our plane was taking off in 1 hour!! We hauled ourselves as quickly as we could to DFW airport on an empty tank of gas, only to park on the wrong side of terminal B-running back to our car and re-parking further down the terminal, we ran in at 5:45 only to be greeted with the message it is too late to check in. By the Grace of God, we were able to get on the next 2 stand-by flights, taking us to Chicago, and then on to Billings. Little to say-I have tried to be more conscience of planning since this incident...part of that plan was my wonderful purchase of an iPhone which was a reward for waiting out my contract with Sprint!!!! Now I will have iCal reminders for all my needs!!!

Pit-Stop on the road in Montana...

On May 19, our newest nephew was born in Billings, Montana!! Benjamin Lucas Wangsmo is such a sweet baby and quite strong. We had the privilege to be present for his baptism and were honored to accept the role as God-Parents. I look forward to watching Him grow and become the man God created him to be! Here are some pictures of him at the baptism.

Jeremy and I also got to enjoy my other favorite nephew, Paul, who has grown up so much since I last really spent time with him. He is into so many new things! He loves pointing out state license plates, giving free car air fresheners to everyone based on the color of their car, and absolutely loves to read!!! I spent many hours reading and having good cuddle sessions with sweet Paul! Jeremy really got to see what life is like with two kids-preparing us for what is ahead in the next 8 months!!! Here are some of the highlights of our trip!

Summer 2009 and going...

This summer has been lots of fun and full of different adventures! Jeremy and I were able to celebrate our niece's 7th birthday in Greenville!! Emily is a girl full of life and fearless! I have enjoyed watching her over the past couple of years grow and mature! My favorite part of being an aunt is teaching them new things like swimming by herself!!

Emily blowing out her candles-Best Wishes!!

4th of July was fun!! I got to experience my brother-in-law's BAGS of fireworks out at my in-laws' house!! I had never set off fireworks-it is fun and VERY DANGEROUS! Especially when you have a husband who likes to push things to excitement! Let's just say we are glad we had some showers earlier in the day to keep the trees, ground and roof damp!! Yes, the roof....one of these bumblebees jumped up from the ground and landed on their roof!!!!!

bags of fireworks
I was amazed!!!

My niece, Whit, and me with her fav. firework

Jeremy and I are Event Planners for our wonderful apartment complex and we recently had an event at Rough Riders' stadium!!! Here are some pictures of the fun! Corpus Christi won, but I was okay with that, since they are an Astros-Affiliated team!

Well, that's an update!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer!!!

10 Weeks

1 Year Anniversary wedding cake topper with Ahgi 7 1/2 weeks

Jeremy cooking some turkey bacon for a salad

These are a few pictures of our first sonogram we did with Catherine @ Dallas Pregnancy Center! 7 1/2 weeks

Today Jeremy took a 1/2 day at work and we drove down to our doctor's office for our official sonogram. (Since my friend Catherine is a nurse @ Parkland Hospital, she also volunteers @ Dallas Pregnancy Center, so we got a sono. @ 7 1/2 weeks just for fun!).

Well we arrived on time and had went into the sono. room. Seeing sweet Ahgi at 10 weeks was absolutely amazing. We have been reading how all the arms and legs have fully formed in the books, but to SEE Ahgi moving around kicking and moving was so surreal!!!

Ahgi at 10 weeks-Everything appears great! What a blessing!

Well then the other nurse called us back to let us know our doctor got called away to a delivery, so we have rescheduled the official physical and dr. appointment for July 28th! Well here's a few pics! We are so excited to see a strong heartbeat! I am feeling a little better now. The first 6 weeks were easy! Weeks 6-9 have been the hardest. The past couple, I have been able to work out and it's felt great!!! My biggest struggle is wanting to eat! I have NO appetite! Thank goodness for that yolk sack! :) Looking forward to the weeks to come!
